Unveiling Shahzadi Football Academy

Establishment and Launch

Shahzadi Football Academy was founded on September 1, 2021, and officially unveiled on November 30, 2021, at the Kaduna Township Stadium, Kaduna State. The academy commenced with 30 players and received notable recognition from key stakeholders. The Chairman of the Football Association, Alhaji Sherrif Kassimu, graced the occasion and encouraged players to remain dedicated, worship God, and stay focused in all aspects of life.
The event was honored by distinguished royal dignitaries, including His Royal Highness Alhaji Baba Adamu Yunusa, the Ona of Abaji, represented by Alhaji Yunusa Yakubu, the OTARU of Abaji. Additionally, His Royal Majesty Akpomeyoma Majoroh Ojeta II, the Ovie of Oruarivie-Abraka Kingdom, was represented by Engineer James Oyaide.
Shahzadi Football Academy’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Khadijah Aliyu Mohammed Gusau, emphasized in her speech that the academy aims to harness, nurture, and develop grassroots football talents. She highlighted its role in rehabilitating vulnerable youth, reducing restivenes, and creating opportunities for young Nigerians to grow into responsible citizens, contributing significantly to the nation’s development.
